SDLMAME for Mac OS X Universal Binaries

Please note "Stable" releases will be offered in Universal and x64 binaries. "U" releases will be x64 only.

Please make sure you have installed the SDL runtime library first!

Please also note MAME is a console application, use Terminal.app or a frontend!

SDLMAME v0.138u4 (experimental): whatsnew.txt - 7/22/2010
- 64-bit Intel Binary - 14.4MB (OS X 10.6+ only)

SDLMAME v0.138 (stable): whatsnew.txt - 5/16/2010
- 32-bit Intel Binary - 24.4MB
- 64-bit Intel Binary - 12.1MB (OS X 10.6+ only)

Old stable releases are here.

The Universal Binaries are built on OS X 10.5.8 with Xcode 3.1.4 and SDL 1.2.14. The x64 builds are compiled on OS X 10.6.4 with Xcode 3.2.2 with and SDL 1.2.14. If these do not work for you, compile your own. NOTE: The Universal builds will only work on OS X 10.5 and above, and the x64 builds are only supported on OS X 10.6.
